Cupcakes in Dallas, TX

August 7th, 2008

If you’ve been a regular visitor of The CPB Gallery you know that I live in the NJ and recently took a road trip to Michigan and Illinois. This being the case, most of my cafe reviews revolve around the NY / NJ area but lately I’ve been blabbering about some of the many treats […]

Zingerman’s Original Zzang Bar Review

August 6th, 2008

Zzang!! Go ahead, say it - it’s fun… ZZANG!!
The Original ZZANG is one tasty chocolate bar.
I posted the description yesterday but here it is again:
“Made by hand at Zingerman’s Bakehouse, Charlie Frank uses the best ingredients you can pronounce. Starting with a honey nougat made with natural peanut butter, Charlie rolls it up in […]

Misha’s Cupcakes

July 16th, 2008

There has been an intense on-going debate for who makes the best cupcake in NYC. There are the Magnolia lovers and the Magnolia haters. There are lists upon lists and arguments upon arguments. Well, I’m here to settle the debate for you.
The best cupcake is NOT in NYC.
It’s in Florida. At a chain called Misha’s […]

Xooro Churro

July 14th, 2008

This photo of a crazy looking churro and the tube it came in was found on flickr. It’s called the “Mississippi” and it costs a mighty $4. They make some really fun, creative products, at least a couple of which contain both chocolate and peanut butter. […]

Martha Stewart’s Brownie and Peanut Butter Ice Cream Sandwiches

June 27th, 2008

I had a little bit of time to kill before work the other day and browsed the cooking magazines for something to keep myself busy. Nothing jumped out because all of the covers kind of looked the same. Every magazine boasted either it’s best grilling recipes or photos of gigantic burgers.
This was all well […]

May 25th, 2008

That’s seven. Count ‘em, seven luscious layers in this incredible Chocolate Peanut Butter Opera Cake. And as if all those layers weren’t enough, the recipe even includes an espresso sauce to enjoy with it. I don’t know when your next birthday is, but go ahead and guilt someone into making this for you. Really, do […]

Lesser Evil Peanut Butter Choco Kettle Corn

May 15th, 2008

I know that I‘ve mentioned before how much I love salt, but incase you missed it, here it is again:
I LOVE salt.
The combination of sweet and salty never gets old for me. Lesser Evil sells many delicious kettle corn flavors, but the one that caught my eye was, of course, their Peanut Butter Choco flavor. […]

Spread is a restaurant in San Diego, California that serves “nouveau comfort food” and sells it’s own brand of flavored peanut butters. C&PB flavors include cookies & cream, dark chocolate chili, dark chocolate espresso & dark chocolate infused with pretzels.
