Two Years!

February 12th, 2010

Blogiversary

Wow, it’s been two whole years of chocolate and peanut butter blogging! I wonder how much chocolate and peanut butter I’ve actually consumed. Then again, maybe I don’t want to know!

This blog has helped me learn a great deal about my two favorite ingredients, including new and creative ways to put them to use. It has also seen me meet a few goals including writing some of my own recipes and designing chocolate packaging. I even got engaged at a chocolate factory!

I can honestly say that when I started this blog, I wasn’t sure how long I could keep it up for. But two years in, it feels like I could do it for a long, long time. Maybe in the future the blog will lead me to meet other goals. Perhaps I’ll visit a peanut butter factory. Maybe I’ll write more recipes and eventually a cookbook! Who knows? But I hope that you stick around to find out with me!

Blogiversary

I want to thank all of you lovely people that regularly pay me and my chocolate peanut butter obsession a visit. Some of you have shared your own snack ideas (peanut butter and fritos, anyone?) and others have stopped by simply to join in the shared love of the world’s two best ingredients. Below are some of my favorite reader comments. Thanks for being a part of this with me!

  • If the blog is two, that must mean I’ve had two years of watching you litter our tiny kitchen with pots and bowls and camera equipment… and I’ve had two years of the dishes that come next.

Of course, it also means I’ve had two years of eating incredibly delicious treats at regular intervals and two years of you smiling after a reader has left a particularly awesome comment. Screw the dishes – I wouldn’t trade the last two years for anything!

  • Dear Kristina,

Congratulations on your 2nd year of lively blogging! You have raised my expectations of good cpb well beyond a pack of reeces peanut butter cups (although those are still good) to the infinate possibilities of chocolate peanut butter paradise. Bless you.
